Thermal Transfer printing is ideal for long-lasting, smudge-proof printing on the disc face. Thermal printing is best suited for 1 or 2 color printing and limited half-tone/screen printing. It is not ideal for full color images. Thermal printing is quicker and less cost per disc than inkjet.
